Workplace Stress & Burnout

Have you become cynical, irritable or feel detached from work?

Has your need for perfection become unobtainable?

Perhaps you have to drag yourself to work and then have trouble getting started?

Do you have decreased satisfaction and sense of accomplishment?

Are you considering a different career or taking leave due to excessive burnout?

If so, you might be experiencing workplace stress or burnout. This has been an incredibly difficult year(s) for many of us, and you might feel like the stress has become unmanageable. I understand that constant changes in the workplace can leave you feeling overwhelmed, frustrated and depleted mentally. Burnout can greatly impact motivation, energy level and your overall wellbeing. It can also cause physical pain (headaches, muscle tension) and difficulty sleeping. Burnout can present in numerous ways, including: a sense of failure, feeling trapped, and even PTSD in severe cases. Learning to cope with the disconnect that accompanies burnout allows you to create a more peaceful and fulfilling life.

I believe in a holistic approach to mental health. We will address not only the burnout symptoms, but also help you to gain awareness about yourself and learn to recognize when you should utilize coping strategies. During our sessions, you will learn how to recognize workplace stress triggers, learn personalized strategies to reduce burnout, and when to implement them. We will work together to develop strategies to reduce overall stress, increase self-care, improve sleep and, ultimately, feel more at peace.

As a licensed therapist, it’s not only possible to receive well-rounded support, it’s my goal to create an overarching impact in your life.
